Ellie is an experienced theatre director and actor from London. She began her theatre journey as an actor, appearing in productions at The Rose Theatre Kingston and Lyric Theatre Belfast among others, before completing her acting training at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She worked across theatre and film before moving into theatre direction. Ellie began directing small scale work at Barons Court Theatre before staging her first full-scale production, Lodger, at Arches Lane Theatre in 2025. She has also worked as an assistant director on multiple projects. She assisted on Festen (dir. Allan Stronach) in 2025, and Jerusalem (dir. Jonathan Reed) in 2026 - both with The Tower Theatre Company. She is due to direct Dance Nation (Clare Barron) with The Tower Theatre Company in January 2027.
